“Smart” chairs by Nissan

Nissan has presented office chairs which are able to return to the designated place by themselves.

In order to achieve that, the engineers of the company have equipped the chairs with the Wi-Fi controlled chassis.

The motion of the chair is clap-activated.

The Engadget portal has pointed out that most likely this development is purely a marketing move which is aimed to attract more attention to the Nissan cars which are equipped with automatic parking system. The portal further states that it is unlikely that such chairs will reach the market anytime soon.
