State student support application deadline extended to October 20
The deadline for state student support applications for the 2025-2026 academic year has been extended to October 20 at 2pm, with no further extension planned.
Nicosia, Cyprus. The deadline for applications for state student support for the 2025-2026 academic year has been extended to October 20 at 2pm, the finance ministry’s grants and subsidies service said on Tuesday.
Incorrectly completed applications
The original deadline was October 12 at 10am. Authorities granted the extension after discovering that some applications had been incorrectly completed, with several remaining in draft form or submitted despite system warnings.
Students are urged to submit or complete their applications electronically, ensuring that they provide the correct information.
Final opportunity to apply
The service said the extension was intended to give families another opportunity to complete the process and avoid being excluded due to unforeseen circumstances.
Authorities stressed that this is the final extension and that the deadline will not be extended further.
