The fires in Cyprus are yet to be extinguished

Due to the increased air temperature and strong winds, the fire in the Soleas region in the mountains is still not extinguished, as confirmed by the police on Sunday noon.

Several fire engines and 3 helicopters are trying to combat the fire in the same region, where last week over 15 sq.km of forest burned down. Luckily, the fire didn’t spread onto the neighboring villages and there were no casualties registered.
