The investigation concerning “self-promotion” of the firefighter is still underway

According to the complaints of the co-workers, one of the firefighters secured for himself a managing position during the firefighting mission in Israel and also got himself the rank of 1^st Lieutenant. Apparently, the officer had the rank of Lieutenant and the decision to award him with the higher rank was put on hold by the Superior Court.

According to the press-secretary of police Mr. Andreas Angelides, the disciplinary investigation was already initiated. The name of the officer under investigation has not been revealed yet and police is investigating this matter.
