The World Heart Day in Cyprus

The charity event in support of the World Heart Day will take place on Saturday in the Medieval theme park Cyprus Land in Limassol. Everyone is welcome to donate their blood and save someone’s life.

The World Heart Day was first celebrated in 1999 due to the initiative of the World Heart Federation. This initiative was supported by the World Health Organisation, UNESCO and other significant organisations.

The aim of the event is to raise awareness of the public about the various heart conditions and strokes, as well as the importance of the Healthy life style.
