Tourism secretariat will be created in Cyprus

The government continues the reforms of the tourism management systems. The important step in this direction will be the creation of tourism secretariat.

In his Twitter, the President of Cyprus Nicos Anastasiades said that “after large-scale dialogue with various organisations, an agreement was signed, which regulates the matters of transformation of the CTO to the tourism secretariat. In the nearest future this legislation will be examined by the House of Representatives”.

President also added that this step will help to increase the input from tourism into the economy of the country.
