Food delivery driver robbed at knifepoint in Limassol area

Limassol, Cyprus. A food delivery driver was mugged shortly after midnight in the Episkopi area, where three hooded people threatened him and another rider with knives and stole their belongings.

Police account

Police said the 31-year-old courier was riding his motorcycle in the Episkopi area with a second person on the pillion.

Items stolen

According to police, three hooded assailants approached them during the journey, threatened them with knives, and fled with the motorcycle, cash and three mobile phones.

Investigation

The incident was reported to police, who said investigations are ongoing.
