A man of non-traditional sexual orientation was beaten up in Nicosia by homophobes.
The association on the protection of rights of gays and lesbians has announced that 32 year old man was attacked at 3 o’clock in the morning.
According to the victim, two men were waiting for him near the sport arena Olympiakos. They pushed him over and started kicking. Quickly they were joined by other 4 men.
After the attack, the victim has managed to get to the nearest bakery from where he was taken to the hospital.
In-Cyprus reports that the victim refused to report this event to the police, however after the conversation with social organization, lawyer and pshychologist, he submitted the written statement.
