Limassol police is actively combating with juvenile criminals.
Patrols cars were specifically assigned for conducting checks of young people’s cars.
Such measures were initiated after a recent incident where a group of 45 young individuals has set the car tires and rubbish bins on fire in the Agios Nicolaos church district. As soon as police and fire brigades have arrived, the perpetrators escaped through the dark streets.
Chief of police Yiannis Soteriades has stated that police is going to take all the necessary actions and efforts in order to eradicate juvenile delinquency.
