Cyprus may provide the right to use the airports and port in order to conduct rescue missions.
In case if the situation in Middle East unfolds in an unfavorable way, then Cyprus will provide the airports and port to Russia to rescue its citizens for example.
The Ambassador of Cyprus to Russi Georgios Kasoulide said that Moscow and Nicosia are currently discussing this agreement. Overall, he said that Russia and Cyprus are cooperating in regard to the renewal of Russian military equipment which is used in Cyprus.
