Yanbu, Saudi Arabia. Yemen’s Iran-aligned Houthis said on Wednesday they launched missile attacks on a Saudi oil tanker off the Red Sea port city of Yanbu and another Saudi oil tanker in the Gulf of Aden.
Saudi Arabia did not confirm either reported incident, and the Houthis did not specify when the attacks took place.

The Houthis’ military spokesperson, Yahya Saree, said the group had carried out the two missile attacks on Saudi oil tankers.
Red Sea blockade
The Houthis have imposed what they describe as a naval blockade on Saudi Arabia in the Red Sea since last month, citing an alleged Saudi siege on Yemen. Riyadh has denied the allegation.
