Low cost carrier “Pobeda” which is owned by “Aeroflot” has acquired the license to conduct flights from Moscow to Cyprus.

The company will make daily flights from Moscow to Larnaca and Paphos.

The CEO of “Pobeda” Andrei Kalmikov has clarified earlier that this opportunity appeared after Russian aviation authority has lifted the restriction on the number of airline carriers between Russia and Cyprus.

Kalmikov expects that low fares will have a positive impact on the overall number of Russian tourists travelling to Cyprus.
