In Ayia-Napa, the construction of one of the largest infrastructure projects – Ayia Napa Marina, has begun.
The project will feature the luxury apartments, villas, the commercial properties, as well as the yacht harbor with moorings and shipyard.
The investors of the projects are the Cypriot entrepreneur Gerasimos Karamondanis and Egyptian businessman Nagib Saviris. They expect that the main residents of the Ayia Napa Marina will be wealthy yacht owners (including super-yachts of over 24 metres long). According to Mr. Karamondanis, the Marina will be able to compete with the Porto Montenegro and with Marina Mandaline in Croatia.
