The Galata Pastry & Baking Goods Festival

The Galata village up in the Troodos mountains will host the Pastry & Baking Goods Festival, which is dedicated to the traditional culinary creations of the Troodos region.

Everyone is welcome to discover the culture and traditions of the island, by participating in this event, which will provide the opportunity to visit Byzantium churches, villages and Folk Arts Museum.

The programme of the event includes:

• 11:00 — excursion around the Galata village;
• 15:00 — preparation of the pastry;
• tasting of the traditional delicacies;
• demonstrations of the traditional folk professions;
• cultural programme.
