Bank of Cyprus schedules nine-month results for November 5
Bank of Cyprus will publish its nine-month 2026 results on November 5, following a board review a day earlier and the completion of its Cyprus Development Bank transaction.

Nicosia, Cyprus. Bank of Cyprus has scheduled publication of its results covering January–September 2026 for November 5, with directors due to review them the day before. The release follows the completion of an acquisition involving Cyprus Development Bank (CDB) loans and deposits.
Board review and publication schedule
In a statement issued on Friday, Bank of Cyprus Holdings Public Limited Company said its board would meet on Wednesday, November 4, to examine the figures covering the period ending September 30, 2026.
Publication is scheduled for Thursday, November 5, ahead of the start of trading on both the Athens Stock Exchange and the Cyprus Stock Exchange.
Cyprus Development Bank transaction completed
The two banks announced on Wednesday that the acquisition had been completed after all necessary regulatory approvals were obtained. It included approximately €130 million in performing loans and around €440 million in deposits, representing substantially all such loans and deposits held by CDB, together with certain additional assets and liabilities.
Agreed in March, the transaction was completed for an amount close to the book value of the assets and liabilities transferred. CDB put the estimated total discount applied to the transferred assets at approximately €2.8 million and said the agreed consideration was nearly at par.
The banks said any balancing sum resulting from the transaction had been paid in cash.
Chief executive’s tenure extended
The results will also come after a decision earlier this month to prolong the tenure of group chief executive Panicos Nicolaou through December 31, 2031.
That decision follows an extension approved in November 2024, which had kept him in the role through December 31, 2028.
