Cyprus plans to introduce automatic exchange of tax information

The authorities of Cyprus have published the list of countries, with which there will be automatic exchange of information concerning taxation.

This will also concern the Russian citizens. In September 2018, the Cyprus Tax authority will provide the information concerning the payments, balances, accrued interest and income from investment for 2017 to their Russian colleagues.

The exchange of information will concern the individuals with bank accounts in the Cyprus banks and rep offices of foreign banks in Cyprus.
