Nicosia, Cyprus. The Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) in Cyprus will run an online information session on November 19, 2026, covering funding for businesses and organisations under the 2027 work programme of the European Innovation Council (EIC). The Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Keve), which coordinates EEN activities in Cyprus, announced the event.

Purpose of the session

Keve said the session will describe the principal funding instruments in the programme and highlight the key changes and new developments planned for 2027. It targets businesses and organisations looking for European funding to back innovation, build new technologies and expand their operations.

Instruments to be presented

Attendees will hear about the EIC Pathfinder, EIC Transition and EIC Accelerator programmes, along with the Strategic Technologies for Europe Platform (STEP) Scale Up initiative. These tools cover different phases of innovation, ranging from early-stage research and the move of technologies towards commercialisation to the growth of companies aiming to widen their activities.

EEN2EIC support for SMEs and start-ups

EEN2EIC will also take part and present its activities, services and tools. These are designed to help innovative small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and start-ups access EIC funding opportunities. A special segment will explain how EEN2EIC helps companies improve their investment readiness, so they can prepare to attract funding and pursue opportunities within the European innovation funding framework.
