First ever training of professional soldiers is planned in Cyprus

The training of 3,000 soldier in order to form the professional army of Cyprus has already started in Larnaca, Limassol and Paphos. After the completion of the course in the training camp, soldiers must get to their departments for the specialised training.

In comparison with the conscripts, these soldiers have the right not to stay in the barracks overnight. They can also cancel their contract without any sanctions during 6 months from the commencement of the course.
