In Larnaca arrested criminals, who were robbing churches

Today at the Court hearing, a sentence will be given in regard to two criminals, who were robbing churches in the Eastern part of the island.

In Larnaka, during police operation, two criminals were apprehended – one citizen of Bulgaria and one Cypriot.

They were trying to escape from the crime scene on a minibus, however police managed to stop them. During search, lock picking tools were found in their possession. During interrogation, the Bulgarian has admitted committing that particular crime, as well as 30 other instances of stealing form churches.
