Keve invites Cypriot organisations to EU-India AI and digital innovation webinar
The online webinar on September 4, 2026 will present a platform intended to strengthen AI and digital cooperation between European and Indian organisations.

Nicosia, Cyprus. The Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Keve), coordinator of Enterprise Europe Network Cyprus, has invited Cypriot businesses and interested organisations to an online webinar on September 4, 2026 on cooperation between European and Indian companies in artificial intelligence and digital technology.
The EU-India AI & Digital Innovation Access Platform launch webinar will be held from 10.30am to 12.30pm Central European Time, or 2pm to 4pm Indian Standard Time.
Platform launch
The initiative is being launched through the Enterprise Europe Network Digital Sector Group in collaboration with EEN India – Global Business Inroads (GBI).
The platform is intended to provide a more structured framework for European companies, technology providers and research and development organisations to engage with India’s expanding digital and AI ecosystem.
Cooperation objectives
A key focus will be supporting European organisations seeking to use India as a strategic destination for developing AI capabilities, including through AI-enabled Global Capability Centres (GCCs).
The initiative will also seek to support Indian stakeholders working with European partners on advanced AI and digital applications, co-development projects and the deployment of new technologies.
Role of Global Capability Centres
According to information provided for the webinar, Global Capability Centres are increasingly moving beyond their traditional role as operational support centres.
They are being developed as strategic innovation hubs supporting enterprise AI, product engineering, intellectual property development and greater control over critical technologies and business capabilities.
Business challenges
The organisers said artificial intelligence was rapidly changing industries worldwide, while businesses continued to face challenges involving scaling, integration, access to skilled workers and cost control.
Europe has strong research capabilities and advanced AI innovation, but companies are increasingly seeking cost-effective scaling, engineering expertise and implementation capabilities, the organisers said.
