New measures against smoking school teachers

The Cyprus government discusses the implementation of new punishing measures toward teachers, who are smoking at the school’s premises.

At the first violation, the teacher will get a verbal warning from the school’s principal. In case of repetitive violation, the warning will be in writing. Any further violations will be addressed to at 6 stages. The principal of the particular school is responsible for the punishing measures and implementation of the system.

In case if a teacher has violated the rules multiple times, then he may lose his salary for 6 months.
