Nicosia-Famagusta bus service to increase for summer season from Saturday

Nicosia, Cyprus. Bus services linking Nicosia with the Famagusta tourist area will increase from Saturday, as authorities respond to higher demand during the summer season. The transport ministry said the expanded service is being introduced in cooperation with Intercity Buses.

Service expansion

The ministry said on Friday that more buses would be added to the Nicosia line to Ayia Napa and Paralimni during the morning hours, along with return services in the afternoon.

Summer transport access

According to the ministry, the additional service will provide more travel options to Ayia Napa and Protaras. It said the move is intended to facilitate access by public transport and support safer, organised and sustainable transport during the summer months.
