Parents will replace teachers during the strike

The parents’ association have reached unanimous decision to leave volunteer supervisors in the school during the first protest of the teachers on the upcoming Wednesday. The strike is planned for 08:30, whereas the lessons usually begin at 07:45.

The Primary School Teachers’ Trade Union POED, has announced a series of strikes in different districts starting with Limassol. The POED is against the issue of shortage of teaching staff and  uncertainty about the status of the temporary teachers.
