The EU institution are deciding the destiny of the English language

After the withdrawal of UK from the EU, the status of English language will fall considerably. The Wall Street Journal publish an article which states that many officials will prefer to use German and French languages instead.

The European Commission already started using only the above languages in the official briefings and conferences.

Last week the chairman of the European Commission gave interview only to the German media and there are rumors that he did that on purpose. On Tuesday he is planning to make an announcement which will be solely in German language.
