Worker seriously injured after being hit by car on Paphos-Limassol motorway

Paphos, Cyprus. A man working on the motorway linking Paphos and Limassol was seriously injured on Thursday morning after being hit by a passing car. Police and an ambulance responded, and he was taken to hospital.

Police arrived at the scene and an ambulance transported the injured man to hospital.

Traffic disruption and diversions

The accident occurred near the motorway tunnel, leading to the closure of both lanes in the direction of Limassol from the Paramali exit to the Sotira exit. Motorists were diverted to the Episkopi exit.
