BirdLife Cyprus Open Day

Saturday 14^th of May from 11:00 until 14:00.

The BirdLife Cyprus organization announces the Open Day dedicated to the World Migratory Bird Day, which was on the 9^th of May.

The event aims to inform the public about bird migration and dangers which are threatening migrating bird.

The programme of the event:

• From 11:15 until 11:35 – Presentation about the work of BirdLife Cyprus in the area of serious and continuous problem of illegal capturing of birds and discussion;
• From 11:15 until 12:35 – Seminar for kids (5 years and older) about bird migration made by the actress and animator of the theatre studio Mrs. Elena Palidou.;
• From 11:35 until 12:35 –  Presentation of the documentary film Leaving is living made by the BirLife in Greece, which is the partner of the BirdLife International in Greece. The film is in Greek language with English subtitles.Duration: 60 minutes.
