Documentary film: My War Years – Arnold Schoenberg

After the unique performance of the Schoenberg’s “Pierrot Lunaire”, the 8^th International Pharos Contemporary Music Festival will present Larry Weinstein’s documentary, My War Years – Arnold Schoenberg.

The film will take the viewers back to the beginning of the 20^th century, at the period of the WWI, when Schoenberg creates the last postromantic plays and first atonolic creations and then to the beginning of the 1920’s, when he discovers the twelve-tone technique.
