Flood festival in Protaras

Friday, 2nd June to Monday, 5th June

Famagusta Flood Festival, a traditional Kataklysmos, dedicated to the celebration of water will be held in Protaras.

The highlight of the event will be a big concert with the participation of popular Greek singers Christos Holides and Lena Papadopoulou. The concert will take place at Fig Tree Bay on Sunday, 4^th June at 21:30.

Festival programme:

Friday 2^nd June

• 20:00 — Traditional and poetic competitions (traditional Cypriot songs, love songs and poetry), dance show.

Saturday 3^rd June

• 18:00 – 19:30 — Zumba charity event. Participation cost – 5 euro. Proceeds from the event will benefit low-income families;
• 21:00 — Concert of popular Cypriot singer Stavros Constantinou and Ex Akois band.

Sunday 4^th June

• 21:30 — Concert of popular Greek singers Christos Holides and Lena Papadopoulou.

Monday 5^th June

• 06:30 – 09:30 — Church service at the Holy Trinity Chapel;
• 20:30 — Concert by “DRUG FREE WORLD CYPRUS” with Stella Esmeralda C.
