Limassol Grand Parade

Sunday 26^th of March from 13:00

Limassol Grand Parade will traditionally be held on the Archbishop Makarios III Avenue.

It will start from the Ayios Nikolaos Roundabout and finish at Simillides Traffic Lights.

Schedule of event:

• 13:00 — Parade will commence with the groups of ladies Limassol Majorettes of the Cyprus Girl Guides Association and Limassol Majorettes, who will be marching in front of the orchestra. The musical rhythm will be set by the percussionist band Batucinio and brass band of the Limassol Municipality
• 13:15 — Festive arrival of the Queen of the Carnival with the title “The Mediterranean Deep Blue” accompanied by the festive installations. Pedestrians are free to join the marching.

All participating groups will be awarded with diplomas.

• 21:00 — Farewell with the Carnival fiesta at the Old Port, closing ceremony and spectacular carnival party, where the Best Costume contest will take place with prizes for the three winners.
