Cyprus police arrested drunk drivers

Cyprus police has once again reported drunken driving cases. A 30-year-old man from Nicosia was arrested last week with the blood alcohol level exceeding the norm 4 times. Later, the driver was released, but he returned to the station requesting to return his car, where he was arrested again.

Another driver was stopped in Paphos at 5am. The blood alcohol test showed that the alcohol level exceeded the norm 5 times. The driver initially refused to pass the blood alcohol test and had to be detained by the police.

Cyprus police strongly recommends to avoid driving under the influence of intoxicating substances and respecting other drivers.
