The volume of property sales in Cyprus to foreigners has increase by 75% over the year. In August last year, the non-residents made 60 deals, whereas during the same period of this year there were 105 recorded transactions.
According to the Land Registry Department, overall during the previous month, there were 451 deals concerning commercial, residential property and land plots. This is 50% that last year.
The purchasing power has increase in all regions of the country. The biggest increase has been recorded in Famagusta, followed by Nicosia, Paphos, Limassol and Larnaca.
