The Cultural Festival “Xarkis”

Saturday 19^th and Sunday 20^th of August

The Xarkis festival for the forth year in a row welcomes everyone who is willing to dicover the authentic culture of Cyprus.

This year the festival will take place in the Koilani village, where various master-classes, seminars, presentations and music performance will be presented to the public. The fremawork of the festival will include various aspects of the folk culture in harmony with the contemporary culture.

The main aim of the festival is to provide an opportunity to get acquainted with the village traditions as well as social and historical heritage, in the interests of the art and scientific societies.
