6 beaches in Paphos got the Blue Flag Award

6 beaches in the Paphos Municipality have been awarded with the “Blue Flag”.

3 out of them are getting the award for 20 years in a row and became the pride of Paphos.

Earlier, The Blue Flag award is given to the beach with just a high quality of the sea water. Nowadays, in order to get this award, a particular beach must meet around 30 various criteria.

The winners of the award are considered as ecologically safe and well-equipped place for recreation and consequently attract more tourists.
