CySEC fines Titanedge Securities €100,000 over advice, client information and compliance breaches
CySEC announced a €100,000 fine against Titanedge Securities Ltd weeks after the Limassol-based firm disclosed plans to stop operating and surrender its licence.

Limassol, Cyprus. The Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) has imposed fines totalling €100,000 on Titanedge Securities Ltd over misleading client information, investment advice provided without authorisation and deficient compliance arrangements. The announcement followed the Limassol-based company’s disclosure, weeks earlier, that it intended to stop operating.
Three penalties imposed
CySEC announced the sanctions on Friday, October 16, after investigating breaches committed in 2023 and 2024 under the Investment Services and Activities and Regulated Markets Law of 2017.
The regulator attributed the largest fine, €40,000, to Titanedge’s failure to ensure the fairness, clarity and non-misleading nature of information supplied to current and potential clients, including marketing material.
CySEC imposed another €30,000 penalty for investment advice that the company lacked authorisation to provide. A separate €30,000 fine concerned internal compliance deficiencies: the regulator found that Titanedge had not put adequate policies and procedures in place to fulfil its legal duties.
Periods covered by the findings
According to CySEC’s detailed decision, the unauthorised advice and compliance breaches spanned January 1, 2023, to December 31, 2024. The client-information findings covered the narrower period from December 24, 2023, to May 24, 2024.
CySEC said its board reached the decisions at meetings on October 13, 2025, and July 20, 2026. They were published this week.
Licence surrender under review
In a notice issued to clients in September, Titanedge said it had decided to leave the investment services business, end operations and voluntarily relinquish its Cyprus Investment Firm licence.
The company asked clients to close any open trading positions by September 30 and request withdrawals of their remaining money.
CySEC’s official register still lists Titanedge as holding licence 405/21, which was issued in October 2021. According to the register, the company’s voluntary renunciation application remains under examination.
