Nicosia residents received wrong water bills

Water board of Nicosia informed about organisation’s internal database issues, which resulted into sending over 30 thousand of water bills to the wrong recipients, including non-existing persons and companies.

The director of water board of Nicosia Nikos Zambakidis said that from now on the database will be updated regularly and information will be crosschecked in the land registry.

Also, the management decided to temporarily wave the 60 euro refundable deposit requirement, which earlier tended to delay the process of registration of new property owners in the database.
