Paphos residents complain about flooded streets

Local authorities ignored the spill of water on the streets of Paphos for the last two months.  The leak occurred in the area of the municipal wholesale market, located between Paphos and Geroskipou area.

At the moment the problem has been resolved, however, local residents and business owners are concerned about the waste of water resources and flooding of the fields. This can affect farmer’s crops and create favorable conditions for hatching of mosquitoes.
