The sewerage corruption case is still under investigation

The investigation procedures concerning the suspected corruption in sewerage board of Nicosia and Larnaca are coming to an end. The investigators have reported their findings at the meeting with the Attorney General Mr. Costas Cleridis.

Regardless of various difficulties and legal obstacles, they have managed to achieve significant progress in their investigation.

Earlier, due to the SAPA corruption scandal, the ex-mayor of Paphos Mr. Savvas Vergas is already serving his sentence in prison. The other ex-mayor of Paphos Mr. Fidias Sarikas is currently under investigation.
