The volume of property sales on the Island has increased by 54%

According to the Land Registry Department, 501 deals were concluded in relation to the sale of commercial and residential properties in Cyprus. This number includes the deals with the plots of land as well.

In February, the volume of deals with the properties increased in all towns: Limassol is leading the way (+85%), followed by Nicosia (+76%), Larnaca (+52%), Famagusta (+30%) and Paphos (+18%).

Experts are explaining such an increase in the property market due to more favorable conditions for the housing loans, as well as the overall improvement in the economic and bank systems of the island.
