Maybe this is not your first visit to Cyprus; perhaps you’d like to try some of the excursions around the island?
The company’s new buses, fitted with modern technology, can show you more in a few hours than would be possible on your own, thanks to our new family friendly and exciting excursion — Cyprus Land — medieval village! This unique project will help you decide which of our island’s attractions you would like to visit.
Cyprus Land — a unique project in Cyprus, dedicated to the Middle Ages. It includes Europe’s largest handcrafted model of the island (360sq.m), based on ancient drawings.
Our audio guide will keep you informed of the main events and traditions here during medieval times.
You can see monasteries and castles, ancient cities of Cyprus and ports, learn where the knights lived and about the ship that brought Berengaria of Navarre to these shores. You will have the chance to travel back in time – to the heydey of Mediterranean civilisation.
Also, you can test your archery skills, watch a medieval jousting contest and take part in a treasure hunt. This amazing medieval village is waiting for you with its ancient Cypriot crafts – sword making, pottery and glassblowing.
At the end of the exciting medieval journey in Cyprus Land, we will continue to the old town of Limassol. Here you can enjoy a coffee, stroll through the narrow streets of the old town or visit Limassol’s medieval castle, said to be the wedding venue of Richard the Lionheart and Berengaria of Navarre.
Next stop – the village of Kolossi and the birthplace of the famous Commandaria wine. We will drive through orange groves on the way there and visit Kolossi Castle to learn about the Order of Hospitallers.
And to round off this beautiful journey, our guests from Paphos will visit Aphrodite’s birthplace, the goddess of love and beauty, where you can relax on the beach or swim around Aphrodite’s Rock to receive eternal youth and beauty.
Our guests from Larnaca, Ayia Napa and Protaras will continue the journey to the village of Lefkara, well known since Venetian times for its handmade lace and silverware.
