“3 Penny Opera” – NT Live

The Rialto theatre in Limassol will host the screening from the Royal Natiotal Theatre of the “3 Penny Opera” in the daring production and with new translations of the Bertolt Brecht’s texts and Kurt Weill’s songs.

The “3 Penny Opera” – is monumental masterpiece of the XX century. The plot is set in London during the preparations for the crowning. All criminals and suspects were removed from the streets.. Mr. and Mrs. Peachum, owners of the “Beggar’s friend” company are waiting that their family business is just about to blossom, but on one of the nights, their daughter does not return back home. This means only one thing – Mack the Knife is back in town.
