Amore by Svetlana Zakharova

Municipal Gardens Theater in Limassol will offer the staging of Amore ballet by Svetlana Zakharova, a multi award-winning prima ballerina of the Bolshoi Theatre .

Svetlana Zakharova is a prima ballerina of the Bolshoi Theatre and Teatro all Scala in Milan, she is also the main guest star of Grand Opera and the National Theatre in Tokyo.

Amore production was specifically created for Svetlana Zakharova, where she experiments with both classic and contemporary styles as she strives for perfection in constant search for new ways of artistic expression in dance.

For her programme Svetlana have chosen three ballets by three world-renowned choreographers: Yuri Possokhov (San Francisco Ballet’s choreographer), alongside Patrick De Bana (Vienna State Ballet’s regular choreographer and honorary member of the National Board of German Ballet and Dance Theatre Directors), and Marguerite Donlon (Irish choreographer and artistic director currently based in Berlin).

Amore production, which will reveal new facets of Svetlana Zakharova’s amazing talent, will be accompanied with principal dancers of Russian ballet.
