Charity Dinner – “Cooking for adults for the good cause”

Kids from the private primary school “Krifo Scholio” in Limassol together with the Orthodox Centre of Limassol are organizing charity dinner “Cooking for adults for the good cause“.

The school “Krifo Scholio” was founded by Reverend Archimandrite Epiphanios Epival.

For the last five years, the students in the school aged from 6 to 12, with the support of their teachers are organizing themed charity dinners, proceeds from which are distributed among the kids from low-income families.

On this day, adults and kids will swap roles. The preparation for the dinner will be solely the responsibility of the kids- from the purchase of ingredients and preparation of dishes, until the setting of tables and serving the guests.

The charity dinner will be dedicated to Russia and will be done under the supervision of the Ambassador of Russian Federation in Cyprus– Mr. Stanislav Osadchiy.

During the preparations for the dinner, children got acquainted with the geography, history and culture of Russian Federation and will try to create a welcoming Russian atmosphere in Cyprus.

All the proceeds and donations during the event will be sent for support and education of kids from low-income families. Part of the funds will be spent on purchase of education equipment for the students of the school.
