International “Total dictation 2017”

The Russian private institute “Erudit” in Paphos will host the International event – “Total Dictation 2017“.

The “Total Dictation” – is an annual event which is aimed to attract attention of those, who knows and loves the Russian language and feel passion for the matter of literacy and to the development of the culture of writing.

The “Total Dictation” – is almost a flashmob: In the dozens of cities across Russia and the whole world, simultaneously (taking into consideration the time zones) all volunteers assemble to write the dictated text. The result of the event show the literacy rate and the level of attention and care toward the Russian language as instrument of communication and expression of thoughts.

The event takes only about one hours. Please take you favorite pen with you and the rest will be provided by the organisers. Those, who are afraid to show their mistakes, are able to choose an alias.
