The 10th Cyprus-Russia Gala

The one of the most important cultural event of the island – The 10th Cyprus-Russia Charity Gala will take place in the Presidential Palace in Nicosia.
The evening will include the concert of the popular Russian and Greek artists as well as dinner.
This event became on the leading cultural and social events in Cyprus. The Cyprus Russia Gala velebrates the long-lasting and strong relationship between Cyprus and Russia, which is based on mutual trust, friendship and support – both on governmental and private levels. Apart from its cultural and diplomatic importane, the event is focused on charity, which supports the “Radiomarathon” for kids with limited physical capabilities.
The artists from both countries will join their talents, which help to strengthen the relationship between Russia and Cyprus.
The star Line-up of the Cyprus-Russia Gala 2016:
- Dmitriy Masleev – is the virtuoso piano player from Russia, he is the winner of the 1st award and winner of the gold medal on the XV International P.I.Tchaikovsky Contest.;
- Zoe Nicolaidou – one of the most highly valued soprano vocalists in Cyprus;
- Cyprus Symphony Orchestra – founded back in 1987 and pays an important part in the cultural life of Cyprus by arranging concerts for visitors of all ages;
- “Berezka” ensemble – choreographical group of Russian national dance, created by the choreographer Nedezhda Sergeevna Nadezhdina in 1948 ;
- Didulia – composer, guitar player, musician and instrumentalist from Belarus, who performs folk-music in the Fusion style;
- Michalis Hadjiyiannis – Greek singer, who is one of the most popular authors and singers of the modern Greek stage.
The Cyprus-Russia Gala dinner is organized under the guidance of the First Lady of Cyprus – Mrs. Andri Anastasiades and with the support of the Radiomarathon fund, which is the leading charity organization, which helps children with special needs and their families.
