The concert of Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra

The Medieval castle square in Paphos will become the venue for the concert of Berlin Philarmonic Orchestra.

The Berlin Philarmonic Orchestra – is one of the greatest orchestras in Europe with experience of performing at hundred of concerts, performances and recording across the globe. As from 1991, on the first day of May, the Berlin Philarmonic organises the annual European concert which is broadcasted live on German TV (ARD), as well as in many other European and Asian countries and around the world in general.

The concert in the year 2017 in Paphos will be led by the great conductor Mr. Maris Jansons, who has been an artistic director of the Vienna Philarmonic for many years. Concert featuring the famous conductor and orchestra will greatly contribute to the promotion of the European values and the realisation of the project in the European Capital of Culture.
