The suspects were arrested following information received by investigators. Subsequent searches led to the discovery of evidence linked to the case, police said.
The two men made certain claims during questioning, which are being examined by police. They are expected to appear before court, where investigators will seek their remand.
Robbery
The robbery occurred at about 3.30am on Friday when a delivery driver arrived at the bakery and saw a hooded man inside attempting to remove the cash register drawer.
The driver and a bakery employee tried to restrain the suspect, but he escaped with the drawer, which contained about €300.
Police said a second person was waiting outside the bakery on a motorcycle. The two then fled in an unknown direction.
