Two Russian tourists were injured by the propellers of speedboats at the Thailand resort.

The incident took place near the island of Phi-Phi in Krabi province in the South of the country.

Two tourists were snorkeling with fins and masks when they were hit by the boat. One of the Russians, according to the local channel, has lost his leg. Second tourist was severely wounded. Both were admitted to the hospital. The names of the tourists are not disclosed. The police has detained the captain of the boat.

This is not the first incident near the Islands of Phi-Phi. On the 29th of January there was a collision between two speedboats with Chinese tourists on board. As a result of the accident, five people were injured.
