“Above the boon sky…” – sole performance by K. Raikin

The Pattihio theatre in Limassol will host the art meeting with professor Konstantin Raikin- the artistic director of the State theatre “Satirikon” of Arkadiy Raikin, film director, winner of State award of Russian Federation and national award “Golden Mask”.

K. Raikin will present his solo performance “Above the boon sky…“, which presents various genres of poetry, which were processed through the heart of the artist.

“This performance represents myself, because I am made of multiple genres. Poetry, especially refined poetry is state of the soul.. For me, reading poems from the stage are like separate roles. Now I can sense the wave of interest toward the true poetry. People realise that they are lacking some kind of vitamin in their spiritual food. After reading Pushkin, there will be less germs in the air.

Once my father told me: “Always read poems. Do this regardless of who your audience is. It will help them to understand you more thoroughly and see more aspects of life”.
