Opera “Tristan und Isolde” – the Met

The Rialto Theatre in Limassol will commence the new season of opera screenings from the Metropolitan Opera in New York (Met).

The new season will be opened by the opera “Tristan und Isolde” directed by Mariusz Treliński from Poland.

Nina Stemme, who plays the main female role and heldentenor Stuart Skelton as Tristan will present the majestic opera written by Wagner, which is based on the medieval legend, when the Irish princess Isolde, who was meant to become the wife of king Mark, fall in tragic passion with Tristan – the nephew of the king.
