The deck is a small, elegant fine dining restaurant with breath-taking views to the Mediterranean sea. With no more than 20 covers, friendly high-class personal service and attention to detail guarantees a memorable dining experience.

The Flambe trolley located in the middle of the restaurant offer a small show that you can enjoy watching on a visit at the Deck, should you choose something out of the dishes served. And there are plenty to choose: king prawns flambéed with ouzo and fresh cream; salmon and prawns with brandy sauce and lobster; lobster in a wine-creamy mustard sauce; beef tenderloin and lamb fillet.

Dinner at the restaurant The Deck

We are embarking on the deck of the ship that will take us into a world where we will taste the most exquisite dishes with the freshest ingredients.

A kind smiling waiter offers us the menus and we select the beverages. We start our dinner with a delicate prosciutto, served with marinated figs, fresh herbs and parmesan, decorated with balsamic cream (Prosciutto di St. Daniele – 10 euros).

The taste of the figs nicely emphasises the prosciutto and the perfect sauce wonderfully combines with the other ingredients.

It is a must to mention another master piece from the world of starters – the king prawns with a delicate aroma of citrus, served with arugula leaves and a sauce based on homemade yogurt (Tiger Prawns – 12euros).

The cream sauce goes well with the shrimp flavour, giving them a melt in your mouth texture. The perfect complement to fish dishes offered at the restaurant would be the Petritis white Cypriot wine (20 euros).

There are wines delivered by one of the best wineries of Cyprus – Kyperounta. Petritis is a dry white wine from the wonderful local grapes Xynisteri. The wine, crystal greenish-yellow in colour, with a fruity aroma of apricot and peach and a fresh and balanced taste, also leaves a long and pleasant aftertaste.

The perfect dish to complete the meal is the flambéed lobster served with rice. This noble representative of the marine fauna is served in a wine-cream-mustard sauce. This delicate sauce perfectly complements the sweet taste of the lobster (Lobster Thermidor – 50 euros).

What can you please yourself with for dessert? Chocolate fondue for two with seasonal fruitand rum, flambéed fruit with citrus syrup and vanilla ice cream or homemade ice cream (chocolate, vanilla, cheesecake, yogurt and wild berries) (10 euros)? It is a must to follow the latest trend in desserts and ordera glass of Cypriot Commandaria with it. Did you know that the basic rule when tasting Commandariais that dessert should not be sweeter than the wine? Therefore, ice cream, with its similar sweetness, blends perfectly with the drink of kings.
